Self-hosting
Run orboto yourself with Docker, or use orboto Cloud - plus domains, TLS and backups.
orboto is self-hostable by design: three containers (api, web, mcp) plus
PostgreSQL and an S3-compatible object store, shipped as multi-arch images.
If you prefer not to operate it yourself, orboto Cloud runs the same
product fully managed.
Self-hosting with Docker
The standalone reference: Compose, reverse proxy, operations, scaling.
Deploying with Coolify
The easy way - one-click deploy on the Coolify platform.
First-run setup
The setup wizard: create the admin account or restore a backup.
Upgrades
Move an instance to a new version safely, and roll back if needed.
Multiple domains
Serve one workspace under several hostnames.
Backups
Scheduled backups, destinations, restore paths.
Monitoring
Health endpoints, metrics, and log expectations.
Troubleshooting
I'm not sure whether to self-host or use orboto Cloud. Self-hosting gives you full infrastructure control - your own network, region, and scaling decisions - at the cost of running Docker yourself. See orboto Cloud for the fully managed alternative; every feature is identical either way.
